This course is designed to give people a detailed understanding of the UCA’s Basis of Union. It will focus on the theological influence of the ‘Mission of God’ and the ‘Faith of the Church’ on the Basis of Union. The Identity, Purpose and Future of the Uniting Church is informed by the Basis of Union therefore, inspiration from the past will aim to contribute to the UCA’s capacity to serve the mission of God in the future. This course is necessary for POD participants and Pastors needing to fulfil core competencies.
