Research

My research is focused on the relationship between systematic theology and feminist theology / gender theory / race theory / post-colonial studies. I am interested in exploring the ways historical Christian faith, and in particular, doctrine, responds to complex contemporary questions of gender and difference. My recent publications explore these issues; considering the significance of classical doctrines – such as creation, sin, and the Trinity – in responding to the philosophical challenges arising from gender, race, and class studies.
